Chop Point K-12 School
CHOP POINT SCHOOL is located in North Woolwich, Maine, off Route 128, two miles down an unpaved road. The fifty acres include a mile of beautiful shoreline on historic Merrymeeting Bay. The setting is peaceful, beautiful and conducive to learning. The classrooms and library are located in 4 main buildings on the campus, many of which overlook the water.
There are many things that make Chop Point School particularly unique and wonderful, including...
- An emphasis on teaching science and social studies by experience, from on-site archeological digs to local wildlife and nature studies.
- A cross-cultural program that teaches students Spanish in all grades, in preparation for a high-school social service trip to Nicaragua.
- A boarding program for both boys and girls, ages 8-18.
- International students, enabling all students to receive an education rich in multi-cultural learning.
